"You could qualify for a grant award of up to $6,000 to turn your lake-friendly landscaping project into reality!  Eligible residents are invited to an informal Solutions Workshop Saturday, March 15, 2014, where local expert landscape designers can help you improve your property while at the same time reducing the amount of pollution entering Lake Whatcom. Grant awards are available to pay for project-related expenses for eligible residents, including tools, equipment, materials, and labor. Walk in the door with only your ideas 
and walk out with everything you need to make them a reality.
